Gastec No. 72LN Ethyl mercaptan short term measurement gas detector tube 0.15 - 57.5 ppm C2H5SH

Detector tube, gas / vapour detection, short term measurement, Ethyl mercaptan, C₂H₅SH, 0.15ppm to 57.5ppm measuring range, 0.5ppm to 25ppm scale range, 0.5 minute to 2 minute sampling time, portable, manual, colourimetric, colour change from yellow (original) to pink (stain), quantitative, with calibrated scale, for use with Gastec GV-100 and GV-110 gas sampling pumps, pack of 10, Gastec Corporation, Short Term Measurement, Gastec Detector Tube, Ethyl mercaptan, No. 72LN.

Gastec Detector Tubes are single gas / vapour, single use tubes for quickly and easily measuring the concentration of over 500 specific gases and vapours in hazardous and toxic environments.

Gastec Detector Tubes are used by industrial hygienists, health and safety (H&S) and environmental health officers to analyse workplace hazards and perform COSHH assessments.

Laboratory scientists, technicians and chemical engineers use detector tubes to monitor for gas leaks or the handling of hazardous gases.

As an intrinsically safe method of gas detection, Gastec Detector Tubes can be deployed in all applications.

Compared to some electronic gas detectors, Gastec Detector Tubes can be more affordable for occasional or intermittent use, plus there is no calibration required, no ongoing maintenance and no charging / power needed.

Gastec Detector Tubes allow the ability to measure individual volatile organic compounds at a much lower cost compared to electronic gas detectors.

Gastec Detector Tubes are glass tubes filled with a reagent that changes colour when it reacts with the target gas / vapour.  The length of the colour stain is then correlated with the concentration of the gas measurement.

Gastec Detector Tubes indicate concentrations directly by way of a calibrated scale printed on the tubes.

Gastec Detector Tubes are now available for more than 500 different applications.

On-site measurements can be performed easily by anybody, anytime and anywhere, in a short time.

Easy-to-check direct reading possible due to the calibrated scale directly printed on the tube.

An extensive measuring range can be obtained by adjusting the sampling volume.

In order to assure high precision, each production lot is tested and calibrated independently, with each detector tube having its own quality control number printed on the tube.

Gastec Detector Tubes have a long shelf-life with excellent long-term stability.

Gastec endeavour to achieve highest quality detector tubes for analysing airborne gases / vapours, as well as pollutants in soil and water through their advanced state-of-the-art research and development.

Gastec has acquired a solid reputation among its users in virtually all sectors of industry, commerce and society.
