Cytiva Whatman 1201-185 Grade No 1V 185mm diameter folded qualitative filter paper circle

Filter, paper, disc / circle, qualitative, folded (pre-folded / pre-pleated), cellulose, high quality cotton linters, 185mm (18.5cm) diameter, medium flow, 11um particle retention, 150s Herzberg filtration speed, 180um thickness, 87g/m2 basis weight, white, pack of 100, Cytiva, Whatman, Grade No. 1V, 1201-185.

Cytiva Whatman Grade 1V laboratory filter paper is a widely used pre-folded filter for many general filtration applications.

Compared with quadrant-folded filters, Cytiva's Whatman Grade 1V pre-folded filter paper exposes extra surface area, which enables a higher loading capacity and shorter filtration time.

Nominal particle retention rating of 11 µm supports general filtration applications.

Medium flow rate.

Intermediate filtration speed, Herzberg filtration speed of 150 s.

Fluted (pre-folded / pre-pleated) for easy use with conical filter funnels.

Cytiva offers a broad range of Whatman qualitative filter papers, including standard filter grades and wet-strengthened grades.

Cytiva's Whatman Grade 1V filter papers are the pleated and pre-folded version of Cytiva's Whatman Grade 1 standard filter paper.

As such, Whatman Grade 1V is well suited for qualitative analysis in routine applications including:

Separations of lead sulfate, hot calcium oxalate, and calcium carbonate.

Agriculture, for soil analysis.

Food quality testing to separate solid foodstuffs from associated liquid.

Education, to teach simple qualitative analysis.

General laboratory filtration.
